Point Lobos is a favorite for local and visiting hikers to the Monterey Coastline. This black vulture (believed to be a young turkey vulture) was sunning himself on a rock along the trail. While he was posing for his close-up, visitors were remarking on the beautiful black eagle. I didn't have the heart to tell them.
