Yo and Sweet Pea under the milky way
This very recently wild mare had just gotten to my house two days before giving birth. Here, she stood on a hill looking down at me while nursing her foal, probably wondering what on earth I was doing. The northland wild horses are selectively mustered to protect them from starvation and being hunted for dog food.
