Waxy Mangelia (Kurtziella cerina) from drift in wellfleet harbor
This is one of dozens of shells of the same species found during a trip to cape cod in august 2023. It is a small shell in the family mangelidiidae, called the waxy mangelia for its white shine. Photo taken with an Inskam digital microscope.
