Water's Soul sculpture on the Hudson with reflection of Erie Lackawanna Ferry Terminal
Water's Soul was created by artist Jaime Plensa of Barcelona for the Newport area of Jersey City and she is our other lady of the harbor (further down is the first lady the Statue of Liberty). She has her hand lifted to her mouth for silence so we can listen to what the water is telling us about the water, perhaps eluding to the cleanup of the Hudson River which was promoted heavily by the Pete Seeger & his folksinging ship the Clearwater sloop. In the magnifying glass you can see the Erie Lackawanna ferry terminal.
