22nd Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
Waterfall carved on a rock
This unusual waterfall is the result of hundreds of years of crystal clear water running over it in the same direction. It is one of the attractions of El Yunque rainforest in Puerto Rico which we found while hiking one of its many spectacular trails.
