At an elevation of over 3700m above sea level, the incredible and serene Vishansar Lake hides deep in the Kashmir mountains in the Himalayas. For centuries it has been a place where Hindu's and Muslims alike have come to find peace. Many nomadic shepherds come to the area with their sheep and goats to graze the rich area throughout the summer months.
