Upside down sunset

The night before Thanksgiving 2020. Walking on the beach in Charleston South Carolina and the sun was setting behind a thick blanket of clouds. The sun peaked out and reflected in a tidal pool. I had my two sons walk to the other side and snapped a photo of their reflection. When I flipped the image upside down, suddenly it appeared like they were walking on another planet with the reflection of the sky looking ethereal and heavenly. I feel a strong spiritual connection in this picture. After a year of Covid and fear and anxiety, this image captured something positive and uplifting. It’s about my love for my boys, my appreciate of nature, and hope for the future.
