2024 is supposed to be a year of intense solar activity producing strong auroras. I arrived at the location expecting to photograph a stronger than usual display, but never expected to get the feeling of being engulfed under one. Combined with the surreal landscape in Iceland and all the other dynamics taking place in the scene, it is almost a mind blowing experience.
