Two Faced Sundial

What side of a sundial faces the sun when the sundial is on the equator? Answer, it has two sides. One faces north, and the other faces south. One side is good for six months, and the other side is good for six months. At least that is how the staff of the Intinan Equator Museum just north of Quito, Ecuador handled the question.
