Transformation through art
Wynwood Walls is an outdoor museum with giant murals. In the 70s the streets of Wynwood were the center of crime and violence. Art began appearing in the neighborhood in the 1980s. The transformation began in the early 2000s, driven by visionary artists and developers who saw potential in its neglected spaces. Today, Wynwood is one of the most popular places to visit in Miami.
