The Naxi ethnic minority lives in Lijiang, Yunnan Province, southwest China. The Naxi people have an ancient and unique Dongba culture, including mythology, language, hieroglyphics, paintings, music, dance, etc. Contemporary Naxi people try to protect and inherit the traditional culture of their ancestors.
