The wet market stands empty at night
The usually bustling and busy Smithfield Wet Market in Kennedy Town, Hong Kong stands still at night. After the 5-7PM rush, the smells of meat, seafood, and fresh produce disappear, the gates come down, and vendors go home for the day. The market stands in an eerie peacefulness, shadows of the day lingering.
