The rag house in the desert outside the Refugee Camp
In a barren landscape with aesthetically located trees a house made of cloth and rags is erected in the middle of nowhere. The owner, a woman from Somalia, poses in the doorway of her house without a door. The house is located inside the Ali Addeh Refugee Camp in the middle of Djibouti. The woman is the mother of six. She and her husband and one kid fled their home in Somalia in 2011 to escape from the war. The other five were born there and they have been living in the Ali Addeh camp ever since.
