the Pitons dominate the view above Soufriere in St Lucia

Gros Piton and Petit Piton are the official names of these volcanic plugs that guard Jalousie Bay on the island of St Lucia. the area is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site and the bay has very good snorkeling. the Pitons can be seen easily from many vistas along the island's roads looming over the town of Soufriere and we were lucky enough to get this shot while exploring this beautiful island.
