The Memories of a Maiko

Maiko refers to a girl in the trainee stage who trains to become a geisha. It is usually known as a geisha, but if you are wearing fancy clothes like this, you are a maiko, and a geisha is wearing a more modest attire. Geisha is one of the symbols of Kyoto, the old city of Japan. They are the traditional entertainers of Kyoto.
