The end of the Road
Tercio cemetery at the base of Culebra, a 14,053ft high mountain in the Sangre de Cristo mountains. The only 14er that is on private land. The land is part of the New Mexico, Spanish Land Grant that was recognised by the state of Colorado in 1843 and is divided up into several very large privately owned ranches. Tercio was a coal mining town in Colorado, several mine incidents left many victims buried here in the mountain solitude. The cemetery is still in use today by local families in the area. The Wrangler is a 60th anniversary model. Registered in 2001.
