The Curves to Lago Escondido

Lake Escondido and Lake Fagnano are part of the Ushuaia Lakes Circuit, in Argentine Patagonia. The lakes are of glacial origin. Lake Escondido, surrounded by forests, is small compared to Lake Fagnano. Despite its name, Escondido Lake can be easily seen from Ruta N3. You can admire it both from panoramic points and from the cinematic curves of the road itself The most famous place to observe Escondido is the Paso Garibaldi viewpoint, a two-story viewpoint at km 3,007 of Ruta 3. There you can admire e take pictures, at the same time, the historic road of Paso Garibaldi, where Lake Escondido and Lake Fagnano, are in the background. The view from the place is beautiful: it's worth staying at the viewpoint for a few minutes watching the landscape.
