The Church of the Society of Jesus

The Church of the Society of Jesus, a Catholic church, located in the historic centre of the City of Quito, Ecuador is a fine example of colonial baroque architecture. The church was built in three stages over 160 years, the first stage being between the years 1606 and 1636. It was completed in the year 1765.
