The alligator man (El hombre caimán)

It is a character from the Colombian Caribbean Coast that represents the legend of the half-man, half-alligator character that went down the Magdalena River from the town of Plato to Barranquilla. This is referred to in the song that says: “Se va el caimán, se va el caimán, se va para Barranquilla” (“The alligator is leaving, the alligator is leaving, he is leaving for Barranquilla”).
