Tea Leaves Pickers

Up in the highlands, tea leave pickers assigned to pick and to discard weeds (i.e. morning glory, etc.). The sun was hiding behind the clouds due to a pending rainy season. It was windy, cool and a little wet. Just like a colleagues, this picker used a large cut out plastic bag as his rain gear. At his waist (not shown in this photo), he wrapped and tied a plastic gunny sack to keep his pants as water proof. These non standard rain gear helped to keep him dry from the elements while picking weeds and/or picking young tea leaves.
