Tagging A Magellanic Penguin

Researchers still don’t know exactly how or where Magellanic penguins get their food in a particular region, because it happens beneath the ocean. This particular project allows scientists to make use of cutting-edge technology like tracking sensors to solve this mystery. This could have important implications how we worked to conserve these beloved birds, including providing them a habitable environment. The photograph captures how the researchers injected a tracking sensor into the penguin's body. I was part of the volunteering team to help to locate it and to record the data. I believe my travel and my involvement in this project will help people to understand how important it is to protect the area to conserve the penguins.
