A man searches through a pile of garbage on a street in hopes of finding something useful or edible during the economic crisis in Cuba. This country has endured major hardships in the last few years due to a crumbling infrastructure, shortages of essential supplies and blackouts that leave its people in the dark for several hours a day. Somehow, through all of this the people remain proud, strong and loving. Yet they must take desperate measures in order to survive.
