I decided to take some photos of my friend, Memphis recording artist Lina Beach, as she explored a local music library. She played a few chords on her guitar and listened to a legacy album of Hi Rhythm Section, a legendary Memphis group from the 70s that she now plays for. The sun hit her just right as she was strumming, and something about how the music touched her seemed to transcend the moment.
