This was made with my iPad in 2012 ,This is right outside my back Door . I had heard of the Sunsets in Santorini ,Greece for years , the sunset capital of the world ! My husband and I had the opportunity to visit Santorini and to our amazement, the sunsets right here on Smithlake in Alabama are as good if not better ! Year around we have beautiful sunsets , it is a rare day when we do have an amazing sunset . Our sunsets are different sometimes orange or yellow and pink , these sunsets turn the lake the color of the sunsets that day . The picture I submitted is spectacular, not only the sky and lake were vivid red , our house and trees turned red from reflection!
