One day my husband and I were taking a day trip exploring about an hour away from our home. We happened across a huge sunflower field. It turns out this field was planted by the Prayers From Maria Foundation. According to their mission statement this fields was "built out of love and compassion for children who suffer, and those who have died, from deadly brain tumors. Our mission is to provide childhood cancer patients with the support they desperately need, by reversing the tragic lack of funding and fueling the most meaningful brain cancer research for kids." We were so lucky to to happen across such a fantastic cause, took some beautiful photographs, and donated to their program.
