Sunflowers at Boone Hall Plantation
It would be difficult to pass a sunflower field anywhere in South Carolina without the cheerful blooms brightening your day. But at the Boone Hall Plantation "you pick" sunflower fields on Highway 17 the color of yellow dominates the view from the road. I was lucky enough to get stopped in the traffic of the day for long enough to snap this photo out the window of my car. Perfect timing of the bluest sky, sunflowers at their peak, and a father and son taking a stroll shaded by a parasol.
