It's a composite of 13 images of the recent total eclipse in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Each image was taken a set interval of time apart, to show the progression of the moon across the sun. I wanted a single image that would illustrate the elapse of time and in our visual lexicon a clock dial seemed the best way to do that.
