Steps to the Bath

Bath Privileges Revoked. In the Palazzo Pitti (Pitti Palace) in Florence, Italy, there are steps which lead to a bath. The scene depicts the ornate Renaissance influence, complete with angels on the top. What amuses me are the two signs which, in no uncertain terms, forbid the walking or sitting on the steps. The sleek blue modern chair can't outrank the novelty of the signs.
