Original Pony Express Station - Sony DSC-RX10M4, 9mm, ISO 100, 1/60, F2.4
This station was erected on the Oregon Trail in 1854, four miles east of Fort McPherson, Lincoln County, Nebraska, and used as a fur trading post and ranch house. From 1860-1861, it was used as a Pony Express Station. It was moved to the location in the photo and restored. The Pony Express ran from St. Joseph, MO to Sacramento, CA.
