It was a cool, clear morning in York, and as I opened the doors leading to our back garden I was rewarded with the view of a couple hot air balloons floating in the clear sky just above our home. It was quiet and serene, almost with no sounds around, as it was very early in the day, and I tried to capture the essence of the balloons as they traveled so close, and yet so far, from us. It was only in retrospect that I saw that people in the baskets were actually looking at me!
