'Serpent in the Snow-Clad Mountains' is a polarized photography image of amino acid crystals, composed of 48 photos that have been stitched and stacked together. Its specific components are dissolved β-alanine acid. The image resembles a giant python in the snowy mountains, and there is also a swept snowy mountain fox head on the right side of the photo.
