SEAWEED HARVESTING

Despite the cold weather, many people in the coastal fishing villages of Quang Ngai "hit wave", pick seaweed. Every year when it comes to the seaweed season, the cliffs along the coast will bustle and pick "sea buds" in days when they don't reach the sea. According to local people, the seaweed season starts from November to the end of the third lunar month and usually grows on rocky cliffs along the coast. Like every year, at a time when the sea is rough and can not reach the sea, people gather together to harvest "sea buds". Seaweed usually grows in winter, rain, high waves cover the sea water on the cliffs. The rocks are very slippery, jagged, and rough, so the seaweed collectors must be very careful otherwise it is easy to fall. If they want to pick a lot of seaweed they have to go to the rock right at the edge of the wave, but they cannot pick much near the shore, and the stone is very slippery. In addition, the waves are also ready to "attack" them at any time, so their hands are scratching, their eyes are constantly looking towards the sea in case of danger.
