Sculpture and man

This image was taken in Lower Manhattan. It depicts two men. One living and the other in the form of a sculpture. The two men are very different in many ways. The sculpture was made by Seward Johnson in 1982. It was damaged during the September 11th attacks. It was recovered and placed near Liberty Park. The sculpture is often called "the survivor" and has the scratches and bruises it suffered during the attacks.
