Remains of a Southern Plantation

What once was a majestic plantation home is now only the remaining 24 pillars that once flanked each wall of the house. The Forks of Cypress has so much history, it's hard to mention it all. Mr. Jackson had the home built and the pillars were made from brick produced onsite. Horsehair & molasses and lime once coated the columns.
