This is a photo of the Washington Monument reflected in the WWII Memorial pool. I was visiting Washington DC, and had been walking along the mall when I saw this reflection in the pool of the WWII memorial. I had been in DC for the opening of the memorial. My grandfather had served in the Navy, and we went with him for the opening ceremony. I liked the serenity of the scene, and how the sky and monuments reflected in the stillness of the pool.
