Red-winged Blackbird Double Moon
Wintry mornings at dawn, I like to visit local ponds to see and hear our resident early birds, the ubiquitous, yet handsome, Red-winged Blackbird. Their distinctive call pierces the chilly air as they perch atop frost-covered cattails in the marshes.
