Reaching Into the Blaze

Volunteering as a firefighter is a American tradition as old as the Nation itself and requires countless hours donated in preparation for emergencies of all types. Instructors from the Mississippi State Fire Academy demonstrate the use of interlocking hose streams to protect a firefighter reaching into cut off the gas from a blazing propane tank training prop. Volunteer firefighters will then practice this training evolution under strict supervision and coaching from the instructor cadre.
