Raven and red rocks
Two of the more ubiquitous sights in the US southwest are red rocks and ravens. On this trip to Arches, both of them aligned. The red rocks are the geologic evidence of the time when this area was a large ocean or sea and these are the standing remnants. Ravens play important symbolic roles in many Indigenous cultures. The past illuminates the present.
