22nd Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest The American Experience
《Rainbow Bridge》

No one seems to know why these tracks were initially painted in rainbow colors, but a spokesperson for the Olympia Historical Society told McClatchy via email that these tracks are part of a railway system that "extends northward all the way to the lumber mill at the foot of Schneider Mountain on West Bay Avenue. From its bridge body, pier columns, track wood, degree of decay, and environment, we can understand that its former glory still stands tall, attracting countless visitors.
