Puerto Rican Emerald Hummingbird in the Karst
A tiny hummingbird balances on a thin stem at night, showing blue, green, and turquoise iridescence with tufts of white plumage below. It remained completely still throughout the night, amidst the cooing and cackling of Puerto Rican owls.
