poppies in bloom
A grouping of poppies in bloom. Half way through monsoon season, the desert which had had an abnormal amount of rain for the season, became a mass of wild flowers in many areas. I live in a rural area and drove the mountain roads shooing whenever I saw a profusion of blooms!
