The Ballard, WA neighborhood is a historically Norwegian and celebrate May 17th (Constitution Day) with a big Parade= the largest outside Norway. It is a neighborhood parade; anyone can enter: unicycle teams, classic cars, clubs, drill teams etc. My favorite has always been the popcorn truck. It randomly parks around Ballard, selling bags of popcorn and bubble gum. It is always guaranteed to bring a smile to everyone's face.
