18th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Travel
Pompeii
This is a street in the ancient city of Pompeii, Italy. The buildings and streets are so well preserved it was almost like you were walking back in time. I specifically wanted to emphasize on the cobblestones and how detailed they were.
