A traveling companion snaps a photo of a street painting that fascinated him in Quito, Ecuador in early 2019. The image he focused on was done in a style that I've seen in the work of Stephen Hansen, whose work incorporates the artist as part of the image itself, often done as a paroady of famous paintings. In this case, though, no famous painting as a backdrop, just a whimsical street mural.
