I am always looking to photograph new places from high up angles. I found out that there was an observation level at the top of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Buildings and it made for some spectacular shots of tiny figures in the plaza out front of the building. I love how it captures the rigid modern structures of the building and the red sculpture but also the areas where plants and flowers grow that give the space some softness.
