I was hiking through Tatra Mountains in Poland when I captured this photograph. While the conditions were perfect for exploring the mountains, they seemed terrible for photography. I wasn't expecting to take any interesting photographs with clear skies and sun so high. However, the path and shrubs growing on the slopes provided combined with strong light made the scene feel almost surreal.
