Papa Weaving in Fomopea, West Region, Cameroon

During my time as a Peace Corps volunteer. I met many lovely people in the rural, mountain village of Fomopea. This village elder was a master palm leaf weaver who consistently produced baskets for various uses. Almost everyday, he would sit in the neighborhood roundabout and weave these lovely baskets. He was such a calm spirit who contributed to the community in his own unique way.
