Ohrid is one of the most important historical cities of the Balkans, located in the extreme southwest of Macedonia. The city has a long continuous history, as evidenced by the numerous cultural monuments from the 6th century BC to the present day. Ohrid is an important tourist center thanks to the Lake, which is several million years old.
