This is a photo of an Osprey emerging from its dive with a Red Kokanee Salmon after it has completed its spawning (hence its vibrant red color) at Lake Hayden in North Idaho. This one of the few places where such a photo opportunity will present itself during the month of September. Photographers come form around the world to capture their rare photos.
