Osprey mating
This image shows two mating Osprey. There is a park in Connecticut that is very close to the water and where the Osprey nest in very visible areas. Because the opportunity to photograph them there is so unique, I always try to visit my kids (who live near the park) during Osprey season! This season, I watched the Osprey return, begin their nest-building process, mate and have their young. As Osprey mate for life and often return to their same nests, I hope to visit my kids more often in 2025, to see if this pair returns.
